Overview
Nextgen GMLC is an SS7-only Gateway Mobile Location Centre for telecom operators and government agencies. Built on Java 25, Quarkus and micro-jainslee, it exposes a standard HTTP /location API while performing the MAP location procedures directly on the SS7 network.
Location Retrieval Flow
MAP SendRoutingInfoForLCS → ProvideSubscriberLocation chain with a clean HTTP northbound API.
Key Features
- 3GPP MAP procedures: ATI, SRI-for-LCS → PSL, SRI → PSI (compat) and inbound SLR @ SSN 145.
- HTTP wire contract: XML default, JSON on explicit
Accept: application/json. - Low-latency location: Sub-second location retrieval with deterministic timeout handling.
- Privacy & consent: Access control and audit by tenant.
- High availability: Active-active micro-jainslee clustering with native-image option (Mandrel + F-Stack sidecar).
